Main Dish for Thanksgiving

This is what we did last year.. it was so great.. hope it can be of some

help for you all:

 

 

For the Main dish at Thanksgiving I made the Best pockets. I used

LaDonnas biscuit recipe, I just doubled it and used extra corn starch so

that it was not so sticky.. I also used my plastic pocket molds.. I

think you can get them at Wal-mart for a few dollars.

 

I then used the recipe I posted for Pine Nut Rissole on 11/13/01 but I

changed it a bit... Instead of Pine Nuts I used roasted pecans. I did

not use the bakon yeast. and I used a great from Lundberg there Black

Japonica rice blend (gourmet black & Mahogany Rice).

 

That was the inside of my Pockets. They were so good. My Mother-in-law

kept telling me that I must have put meat in them.. But I did not. They

were 100% vegan/gluten free. I also poured vegan/chicken style gravy

over the top.

 

YUMMY!!!!!!!
