Guest guest Posted November 20, 2002 Report Share Posted November 20, 2002 Praline Bars 24 graham cracker squares (gf if necessary) 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup margarne 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 bag chocolate chips (optional) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange graham crackers in single layer in ungreased jellyroll pan. Heat brown sugar and margarine to boiling in a large saucepan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour sugar mixture over crackers; spread evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bubbly. If desired, sprinkle the chocolate chips over bars, may need to spread the melted chocolate.
