Center 2 1/2 cups multi-grain cereal (use a gf blend if necessary/such as Bob's Red Mill gf cereal mix) 4 cups water 1/4 cup soy sauce or equivalent (gf) 2 tsp. sage 1 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup each chopped nuts and sunflower seeds Bring water and seasonings to boil. Add nuts, seeds and grains. Cook 30 - 45 minutes without stirring, or until grain is cooked. Form into patties --- 1/3 cup each, or your choice. Bake in 350 degree oven to brown.
