Guest guest Posted November 11, 2002 Report Share Posted November 11, 2002 Shortcake Two Source: still going against the grain 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix two 2 tbls. sugar 1/2 cup butter OR 1/4 cup oil 1/2 cup water OR milk 1 Egg replaced, beaten Fruit/ whipped topping Preheat Oven to 375 Combine mix and sugar in bowl Combine melted butter or oil, water and replaced egg. Add to dry ingredients until just moistened Knead 10 times on lighly floured board Roll out 3/4 " thickness Cut with floured cutter and bake about 20 minutes until brown Add your favorite fruit and topping Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
