Guest guest Posted November 5, 2002 Report Share Posted November 5, 2002 No-Bake Peanut Butter Squares 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 cup vegan margarine; softened 1 1/4 cup peanut butter; divided 1 tsp. vanilla 3 cups graham cracker crumbs (gf if necessary) 1 cup chopped peanuts; optional 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips (or carob chips) Mix together powdered sugar, margarine, 1 cup peanut butter and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the crumbs and nuts. Press mixture into wax paper lined 9x9 " pan. Melt chocolate chips with remaining peanut butter in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Spread over crust. Refrigerate 1 hour until chocolate is set. Remove from pan, discard wax paper and cut squares. Refrigerate until firm.
