Guest guest Posted October 29, 2002 Report Share Posted October 29, 2002 Cashew Cheese Spread - Low Fat Version Source: Tammy S./Vegan Cooking School Recipe 1/4 cup raw cashews 1 cup water 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Bragg's Liquid Aminos (optional) 2 tsp. yeast flakes 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. canola oil 1/8 tsp. dry mustard paprika for coloring Blend all ingredients and then thicken on stove. Chill in ice water and when completely cool return to blender and blend until creamy.
