Guest guest Posted October 16, 2002 Report Share Posted October 16, 2002 Garbanzo Pate' 2 cups garbanzos, raw 2 cloves garlic 2 Tbsp. sesame oil 1/2 cup lemon juice salt to taste McKay's Chicken-Style Seasoning, to taste Cayenne Pepper, to taste Soak garbanzos for 24 hours in water. Then cook for 1 hour. Strain and keep broth. Put ingredients in blender. Mix well, using broth to help achieve right consistency. Blend until smooth. Add McKay's Chicken-Style seasoning, dried sweet basil, and cayenne pepper to taste.
