Guest guest Posted October 6, 2002 Report Share Posted October 6, 2002 Vegeburgers Source: Incredible Edibles (adapted) 6 cups water 1/2 cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos 1/3 cup olive oil 4 cups regular rolled quinoa or rice flakes 2 cups fresh grated potato 2 cups gf bread crumbs 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes 1 Tbsp. sweet basil 1 tsp. each: garlic powder and sage 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped In a large saucepan, combine water, Bragg's Liquid Aminos and olive oil and bring to a boil. Add oats and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, add all the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Set aside for 1/2 hour or so to cool. Using 1/4 cup portions, form patties on oiled cookie sheet and bake in 325 degree oven for approsximately 45 minutes. *May fry instead of baking; use wide-mount jar lid ring to form perfect circle and even sizes.
