Guest guest
ABOUT: Dulse Dried red seaweed, used as food in Scotland, Iceland, and other northern countries. Chemical analysis: Protein 23.5%, Carbohydrates 44.3%, mineral salts 26.7%, fat 3.8%. Dulse may be substituted for salt in salad dressing to add valuable trace minerals lacking in many of our foods today. Delicious in flavor, high in minerals --- dulse is used as a medicine as well as food. Can be eaten fresh, dried or powdered. Use in sandwiches to alternate with lettuce, use in soups, stews, rice dishes, salads and other vegetables.
