Guest guest Posted October 2, 2002 Report Share Posted October 2, 2002 FROM: http://members.tripod.com/~gfcfrecipes/ biscuits 2 cups gluten free flour mix 1 1/2 tsp xantham gum 1 T baking powder 1 tsp sugar 1/2 t salt 5 T unsalted margarine, cold 3/4 cup vance's darifree (thickened) or other milk alternative Preheat oven to 450. Toss together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, xantham gum. Cut in magarine until forms coarse crumbs (use pastry cutter, fork or two knives). Add darifree & stirr until mass. Gather into a ball. Pat out (using gluten free flour to keep from sticking) into 3/4 inch thick and cut with cutter or glass. Bake 12-14 minutes. Cool on rack. Freeze leftovers immediately.
