Guest guest
This is the gravy I serve with the lentil loaf (and mashed potatoes, of course!). I use the broth which I strain from cooking the lentils with spices. Gravy Water and broth to make 4 cups 1/3 cup wheat- free tamari sauce 1 tsp. ground coriander 1 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. onion granules 1 tsp. garlic granules 3 Tbsp. cornstarch ¼ cup water 1. Add wheat-free tamari sauce and spices to 4 cups water or broth. More tamari sauce may be needed if water is used instead of broth. 2. Simmer on low for 15 minutes. 3 Mix cornstarch with ¼ cup water. 5. Bring gravy to boil and add cornstarch mix slowly while stirring the gravy. Stirring is important to avoid lumps. If they do appear, use a hand blender to break them up.
