Seasoned Pinto Beans

Source: A Taste of Nature

 

3 cups pinto beans, soaked and drained

6 cups water

2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. garlic powder

2 tsp. onion powder

1/2 tsp. basil

 

Cook beans in water about 2 hours; add more water if needed. Add seasonings and

mix well.
