Guest guest Posted September 10, 2002 Report Share Posted September 10, 2002 Garbanzo Patties Source: A Taste of Nature (adapted to gf) Saute: 1 medium onion in a small amount of water Blend: 1 cup water 1 cup garbanzos (cooked or canned) 1/2 cup nut meal or seeds 2 Tbsp. McKasy's Chicken Style Seasoning (or Bill's Best Chicknish; or homemade from recipe in archives) 2 tsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. sage 3 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes Add later: 1 cup quinoa flour (or any flour of your choice; grain or legume) Place sauteed onions into bowl; add blended ingredients and flour. Mix well. Let stand 15 minutes. Drop onto prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 20 - 30 minutes, turning once halfway through baking time. Makes 12 patties.
