Taken from Recipe De Jour Good Neighbour Recipes and modified to be GFCF.

Nutritional values at the end are reflective of wheat flour not GF.

Citrus Broccoli

1 1/2 Pounds Fresh Broccoli

1 Tablespoon Vegetable ghee

1 Tablespoon corn starch (or other GF Flour)

1 Teaspoon Orange Rind, grated

3/4 Cup Orange Juice, unsweetened

1. Trim large leaves off broccoli, and remove tough ends of lower stalks. Wash

broccoli, and cut into florets.

2. Arrange florets in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover broccoli and

steam 4 minutes or until crisp tender. Transfer broccoli to a

serving bowl, and keep warm.

3. Melt margarine in small heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add corn starch,

stirring until smooth.

4. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add orange rind and orange

juice, cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Add broccoli back into pan with sauce, toss to combine, pour broccoli onto

serving plate.

Notes: A little something different from the normal boring microwaved broccoli

with butter. A tangy mixture of orange and broccoli.
