Strawberry Ice Cream

Source: my mom

 

1 Tbsp. Emes plain gelatin (vegan)

1 cup cashews

3 cups water

1 Tbsp. vanilla

2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries

3/4 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup olive oil

1/4 tsp. salt

 

Boil 1 cup water. Add gelatin and cook one minute more. Remove from heat and

cool slightly. Combine Emes mixture and cashews in blender and blend until

smooth. Add remaining water, vanilla, and strawberries. Liquify. Add syrup,

salt, and oil. Blend one minute more. Freeze in ice cream maker according to

manufacturer's instructions.
