Guest guest Posted July 29, 2002 Report Share Posted July 29, 2002 Tofu Quiche 1 block firm tofu 2 Tbsp. red miso 1/4 cup tahini 2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder 1 medium onion, 2 garlic cloves 1 - 2 cups broccoli (or other vegetable) In a blender, mix tofu, red miso, tahini, and arrowroot powder that has been dissolved in a small amount of water. Blend until creamy. Set aside. In a skillet, saute onion and garlic. Add chopped broccoli (or other vegetables). Cook until tender. Turn off heat and add tofu mixture to vegetables. Pour tofu and vegetable mixture into a pie shell and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes to allow quiche to " set " before serving. ***If gf, use appropriate pie shell.
