I'm not certain that all non-dairy creamers are vegan, but there has to be one brand out there that is! I am eager to try this. Thanks for a great recipe, BL. ~ LaDonna Indian Chai 1 1/4 cups tofu milk powder 1 1/4 cups powdered non-dairy creamer 1 1/4 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer 2 1/2 cups white sugar 2 1/4 cups unsweetened instant tea (herbal) 2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground cardamom 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon coriander 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon white pepper (optional) Some variations: you can place a pinch of unsweetened cocoa powder. Also can use cayenne pepper powder, only the tiniest amount because the ginger and white pepper already give this hot beverage a massive kick. You can also use more of the creamers to make a little more creamy, and more sugar. Combine all ingredients in a large (2 gallon) ziplock bag. This is an excellent way to keep mess down and to keep dishes down. Shake till thoroughly mixed. To Serve: place 3 slightly heaping teaspoons in 6-8ozs. hot water. Stir and Enjoy!
