Guest guest Posted July 25, 2002 Report Share Posted July 25, 2002 Tofu French Toast 1 1/2 cups tofu 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or coriander 1/4 cup honey (or your favorite sweetener) 1 tsp. salt 1/2 cup water 2 Tbsp. oil (optional) Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy. Pour into a shallow bowl (such as a pie pan). Dip sliced gluten free bread in batter. Fry in a hot skillet with 1 Tbsp. oil for each side. Brown well on both sides. Serve with honey, maple syrup, or fruit spread. *Note: Instead of frying in oil. . .use a non-stick skillet.
