Waffles

Source: Hartland Heartsavers (adapted)

 

3 cups water

1/2 cup gluten-free flour blend

1/2 cup cooked brown rice

1/2 cup nuts or seeds

1/2 cup cornmeal

1/2 tsp. salt

1 - 2 tbsp. honey (or alternative)

2 cups rolled quinoa flakes

 

Blend all ingredients, except quinoa flakes. Add quinoa flakes

slowly and blend only until mixture will no longer swirl and pull the

oats into the batter. Do not add more than 2 cups quinoa flakes.

Bake in a prepared waffle iron approximately 10 minutes at medium

heat until golden brown.
