Guest guest Posted July 24, 2002 Report Share Posted July 24, 2002 Fresh Strawberry Frost 3 pints strawberries hulled 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup lemon juice 1 3/4 cups orange juice mint sprigs for garnish if desired In a blender at high speed or with a food processor fitted with a knife blade attached blend 1/3 of all ingredients except mint sprigs until smooth. Pour blended mixture in to a 13 by 9 inch glass baking dish. Repeat in two more batches. Cover dish with plastic wrap. Freeze stirring occasionally until partly frozen; about 3 hours. Spoon strawberry mixture in to chilled large bowl. With mixer at medium speed beat until smooth but still frozen. Return mixture to baking dish. Cover and freeze until firm; at least 3 hours. Garnish with mint sprigs.
