Guest guest
Cheese for Grating Source: Rose @ Christian Vegan Cooking 1/2 c water 3 T Emes unflavored gelatin (vegan) 3/4 c hot cooked millet 1/4 c cashews 1 T fresh lemon juice 1 t. salt 1 1/2 t. onion powder 1/4 c sweet red pepper 1 1/t t. dillweed Soak water and gelatin in blender five min. Add all ingredients and blend. Spray a 16 oz can with cooking spray. Pour mixture into can. Chill in refrig. Cut out other side of can for easy slicing or grate over pizza or enchiladas. I often just put this in a square Rubbermaid container and it sets up just fine. It can be frozen to aid in grating, also. ***This is another of Rose's cheese recipes. I've tried this one also and it grates nicely. I suspect this recipe is one Rose has adapted from the Benton Sister's cookbook.
