Hi Lynette,

I purchase quinoa flakes at the health food store, although several times

I've been fortunate enough to find them in a regular grocery store. The

brand I find most often is Ancient Harvest Quinoa Flakes. The flakes are

smaller than oat flakes, but work quite nicely. They are tender and adapt

nicely. I recently found another brand of quinoa flakes at the health food

store, packaged in a celephane wrapper. I asked the manager of the hfs if

they order quinoa flakes in quantity so I could stock up. I'm still waiting

for a reply. . .they said they would check.

I hope you like the granola. I really do like this recipe. IMHO, the

secret of tasty granola is to use more seeds than nuts. It isn't quite so

chewy, but has enough crunch to satisfy.

:) LaDonna

PS: Here's the address for Ancient Harvest: Quinoa Corporation, PO Box

279, Gardena, California 90248

> Sounds great!! Can I ask where you would get Quinoa flakes? I've never

seen those. That's been my problem is finding something to replace the

normal oats in granola.
