Guest guest Posted July 8, 2002 Report Share Posted July 8, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Chocolate Silk Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies, Tarts & Pastries Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 9-12 oz package chocolate chips [dairy free] 1/3 cup maple syrup or other liquid sweetener 2 12-oz packages silken tofu (Mori Nu) -- 1 firm, and 1 extra firm) 1 prepared gf pie crust Melt chocolate chips and maple syrup together in saucepan over a very low heat (or double boiler), stirring frequently, until completely smooth. Meanwhile, put both packages of tofu (drained) into a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth. With food processor or blender running on low, slowly pour the saucepan mixture into the tofu. Blend both together until completely smooth. Pour into the graham cracker piecrust and chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight. May top with strawberries or other fruit.
