Guest guest Posted June 27, 2002 Report Share Posted June 27, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * 3-Bean Salad Recipe Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beans And Legumes Salads, Main Dish Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 15 ounces garbanzo beans, canned -- rinsed and drained 15 ounces kidney beans, canned -- rinsed and drained 2 cups green beans -- * cut in 1/2 ***DRESSING*** 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon basil 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon tarragon 2 tablespoons fresh parsley -- (optional) some red onion -- (optional) For those concerned about eating sugar, this looks like a lot, but really the beans just sit in the dressing and you don't actually eat most of it. Anyway, I make this all the time and it's really yummy! We picked the green beans from our garden..yum! *Green Beans: washed, ends cut off, lightly blanched - you want about the same amount of these as the other beans.
