Guest guest
Does anyone have a good veggie meatball recipe? My daughter could eat a dozen of the frozen ones from Wild Oats! Making my own would be cheaper, and without casein or gluten we could all eat them. Thanks, Cathy Allen
Guest guest
Hi Cathy, I've never had the frozen meatballs from Wild Oats, but did find some recipes for you. I hope they help and you find something you like. Some of them call for gluten-free bread crumbs. I usually keep gf bread crumbs in my freezer for casseroles, etc. I crush them and dry them. . .then portion them out into zip-lock bags. It seems I often have a loaf of gluten-free bread that " flopped " and ends up in the bread crumbs section of the freezer! Nice to hear from you, Cathy. Maybe someone else has some ideas/recipes for you also. LaDonna - Need a meatball recipe > Does anyone have a good veggie meatball recipe? Guest guest
Thanks LaDonna :-) I will give these a try! The Wild Oats meatballs are grey-brown and have a chewy texture. They are not nutty, but maybe more mushroomy. It will be fun to experiment. Cathy
