Guest guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Share Posted June 6, 2002 Plum Tomato Sauce 10 cloves garlic, sliced 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1 medium sweet onion, chopped 1 large red or yellow pepper, chopped 1/2 can (about 1 cup) black olives, sliced or chopped 6 large plum tomatoes, diced 1 tsp. dried or fresh thyme 1 tsp. salt Saute' the garlic in the olive oil until golden in color. Then stir in the remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 15 - 20 minutes. Serve as a topping for the " Garlic Potato " recipe previously posted.
