4 cloves garlic -- coarsely chopped

1 tablespoon dried oregano

2 teaspoons paprika

1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seed

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon fennel seed

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon dried red chile flakes

1/4 cup smooth or chunky peanut butter

3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 1/4 cups vegetable stock

1 pound firm lowfat tofu -- well drained
