Guest guest Posted May 30, 2002 Report Share Posted May 30, 2002 Johnny's Corn-Millet Porridge 5 cups water 1/2 cup millet 1/2 cup unrefined cornmeal 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup coconut 1/2 cup chopped dates or raisins Place first four ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil 2 - 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add last two ingredients. Stir together adn pour into lecithin-oiled baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: 6 cups.
