Lemon Poppyseed muffins

Thanks for that, I must admit that though I did go to the archives I just did a

quick check for lemon poppyseed not a thorough check for all muffins to adapt. I

will do a more thorough look

 

One question - I found a recipe for plain poppyseed muffins not dairy free and

it had the poppyseeds soaking in the milk first. I was hoping to use soda water

as the liquid for better rising. Do the poppyseeds need to be soaked first or

not, because the soda water should be added last and soaking it kind of defeats

the purpose. I have never cooked with poppyseeds before.
