For safe soy based meat substitutes, my favorite online source is the Dixie Diners Club in Texas. Go to http://www.dixiediner.com These are dry products that require rehydration. You can also find the occasional GF meat substitute at places like health food stores. > Are there any other resources for vegetarian casein and glucose free > diets? Most, if not all, of the products at Dixie Diner are also completely dairy free. I'm not aware about their glucose content. Guest guest
I haven't found any Cathy, meat replacements that is, but I am learning to make my own at home. We have tried several varieties of patties and the children are enjoying them. I think a mushroom based one was the favourite but we restrict fungi here because of candida problems in two of the children. I think you have come to the right place for support, anyway. So ... welcome. Brenda-Lee (who usually signs BL)
