Yes there are, but be careful of the great majority of meat

replacements, it seems most of them do contain wheat gluten.

 

For safe soy based meat substitutes, my favorite online

source is the Dixie Diners Club in Texas. Go to

http://www.dixiediner.com

These are dry products that require rehydration. You can also find

the occasional GF meat substitute at places like health food stores.

Most, if not all, of the products at Dixie Diner are also completely

dairy free. I'm not aware about their glucose content.

I haven't found any Cathy, meat replacements that is, but I am learning to make

my own at home. We have tried several varieties of patties and the children are

enjoying them. I think a mushroom based one was the favourite but we restrict

fungi here because of candida problems in two of the children.

 

I think you have come to the right place for support, anyway. So ... welcome.
