Guest guest Posted May 20, 2002 Report Share Posted May 20, 2002 Caramel Popcorn 8 qt. popped popcorn 2 c. brown sugar 2 sticks vegan margarine 1/2 c. white corn syrup 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring 1/2 tsp. baking soda Preheat oven to 250F. Pop popcorn in an air popper if possible. Cook brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup over medium heat until melted. After it is melted, add flavoring and baking soda. Pour over popped corn. Place on cookie sheets or in a large roaster. Bake 1 hr., stirring several times while baking. Makes 8 qt. Note: You can add any kind of nuts if you wish.
