Guest guest
Backpacker's Brownies 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs* 2 Tbsp chopped pecans 1 Tbsp powdered soy milk 2 oz. chocolate chips Pack the graham crackers and nuts together in one bag and in another bag put the powdered milk and chips. At the campsite, add 2 Tbsp boiling water to the milk and chip mixture and stir. Add the graham cracker crumbs and nuts and mix well. While still warm, use your spoon to spread to desired thickness. When cool cut into squares and enjoy! Serves 2. *You can use vanilla wafers or other cookies instead of graham crackers if you prefer. To make crumbs put the cookies in a plastic bag and roll a rolling pin over them. - Deborah Flowers --- | For the memory of the uncompromisingly righteous is a blessing, | | Proverbs 10:7a | ---
Guest guest
With dairy-free chocolate chips this surely could be vegan. This sounds like a great recipe. Any suggestions for gluten-free graham crackers? Rice wafer crumbs? Guest guest
Actually, I think MsRobens has a GF graham cracker mix that would probably work if you want to go to the trouble of baking them to make them into crumbs. Otherwise, a prepared crispy GF cookie would work pretty well. BL
