Guest guest Posted May 15, 2002 Report Share Posted May 15, 2002 Unsausage Patties Source: joyriver.org [adapted to gluten free] 4 1/2 cups water 4 1/2 cups quinoa flakes 1/2 cup soy sauce or liquid aminos (wheat free) 1/4 cup oil 4 tsp. liquid sweetener 1 Tbsp. onion powder 2 tsp. sage 4 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning Bring water to a boil in a large pot, then add the quinoa flakes and the rest of the ingredients. Allow to cool. Form into patties using a canning jar ring (lay the ring on a cookie sheet, press dough into the ring, lift up ring from sheet). If the dough sticks too much, dip the ring in cold water in between patties. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Then turn over the patties and bake for another 15 minutes. Patties freeze well.
