Guest guest Posted May 15, 2002 Report Share Posted May 15, 2002 Peanut Butter Carob Fudge 1/4 - 1/2 cup sorghum syrup 3/4 cup water 1 cup natural peanut butter 3/4 cup roasted carob powder 3/4 cup chopped walnuts Stir together sweetener and water. Warm over low heat and add peanut butter. Stir until smooth and well combined. Stir in carob powder. Add nuts. Pack into a lightly oiled 8 x 8 " pan, keeping fudge evenly distributed and smoothing top. Cover with waxed paper. Chill for several hours before cutting into small squares. ***Additions to this recipe: flax seeds and/or sesame seeds added to this recipe add fiber to the diet.
