Guest guest Posted May 4, 2002 Report Share Posted May 4, 2002 3 - 4 cups of leftover cooked cereal (such as the cornmeal millet porridge recipe I just posted; or brown rice, millet, quinoa, etc.) Spread the cereal with a spoon into a prepared, hot waffle iron. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Makes 2 - 9 " waffles. *It is best to use a " seasoned " waffle iron for this recipe. Non- stick baking spray also works well in preventing sticking. Enjoy!
