Guest guest
Hi Steve, I was speaking to a nurse last Friday, and I told her that I was eating so much salad everyday. She told me it was probably too tough on my already sensitive intestines. So since Saturday I haven't touched any raw veggies, and my cramping has gone away completely. I guess now my poor guts will finally get the rest they need. I was too dense to realize that I had overdone it with trying to survive with little more than salad. Mind you, I don't have any trouble with my vegetable soup that I cook. Thanks for your kind support, Bye for now, Marie
Guest guest
Marie I'm very glad to hear this! I too have trouble if I eat too many raw veggies, especially the kinds that are harder to chew when raw. We recently moved to Palm Springs CA and found a vegan friendly restaurant that serves a lot of uncooked veggies. It was by going there a few times that I learned to ease off on the uncooked food. I think you'll find that now the discomfort has eased off, over time any discomfort you might feel will be gradually less and less severe each time. Best wishes!
