Guest guest Posted March 25, 2002 Report Share Posted March 25, 2002 Posted today on SDAWOW Friendship Garden Carob Fudge Posted by Keri 2 cups favorite carob chips 1 cup all natural creamy peanut butter (optional: almond butter or cashew butter) 1 cup raisins ( I soak my raisins in hot tap water while I melt my chips) 1 cup thinly sliced almonds, or coarsely chopped pecans 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut Melt chips and peanut butter in heavy-bottom saucepan. When melted remove from heat and quickly stir in remaining ingredients. Ternds to get thick quickly. Pat out on cookie sheet 1/2 inch thick. Recipe won't completely fill cookie sheet.
