Guest guest Posted March 12, 2002 Report Share Posted March 12, 2002 Egg-Free Nut Macaroons 3/4 cup ground almonds 1 1/3 cups brown sugar 9 tsp. Ener-G Egg Replacer 6 Tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor 4 oz. walnut halves Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix ground almonds and 1/2 cup sugar. Beat Egg Replacer with water to form peaks. Beat in remaining sugar and vanilla. Fold in ground almond mixture. Place by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking trays, spaced well apart. Press walnut halves into the top of each macaroon. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Immediately remove from baking tray and allow to cool.
