Guest guest Posted March 3, 2002 Report Share Posted March 3, 2002 Scalloped Potatoes Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health 1 quart sliced potatoes 1 large onion, chopped 1/2 cup raw cashews 2 cups warm water 1 heaping tsp. chicken-style seasoning 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. onion powder 2 Tbsp. cornstarch Spray casserole dish with non-stick spray. Saute onions in 1/4 cup water until tender. Layer potatoes and onions in casserole. Blend remaining ingredients and pout over potatoes/onions. Bake at 375° F. for 45 minutes. Variations: Sprinkle top with parsley and paprika before baking. Use raw onions and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
