Guest guest Posted February 12, 2002 Report Share Posted February 12, 2002 Mock Sour Cream Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health 1 cup raw cashew pieces, rinsed 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 - 2 cups water 1 tsp. garlic powder, optional 1/2 tsp. salt Blend cashews and 1 cup water until smooth. Add brown rice and continue to blend until smooth. Add water, as much as needed for the right consistency. Add garlic and salt. Pour into a container with cover and store in refrigerator until needed. Delicious on baked potatoes, as a salad dressing, and for a vegetable dip. **Mix in equal amounts with your favorite salsa for a nice dressing for green salad.
