Guest guest Posted February 6, 2002 Report Share Posted February 6, 2002 Split Pea Soup Source: Natural Lifestyle Cooking 2 1/4 cups green or yellow split peas 1 onion 1 cup diced celery 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. marjoram 2 quarts water Cover peas with water. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and add onion, celery, salt, and marjoram. Simmer until peas are cooked to a soup consistency (about 2 hours).
