Table Salsa

Salsas are a key ingredient in many Mexican foods. Spanish for sauce, salsas

can be used as a dip for appetizers or as an accompaniment for main and side

dishes.

 

4 medium tomatoes, finely chopped

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

1 can (4 oz.) diced green chilies, drained

3 green onions, chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

1/4 tsp. oregano

1/4 tsp. cumin

1/4 tsp. chili powder

salt to taste

 

Combine all ingredients in glass bowl. Cover and refrigerate. For best results

make the day before. Makes 3 cups.
