Guest guest Posted December 24, 2001 Report Share Posted December 24, 2001 Green Bean-Beet Salad Source: Country Kitchen Collection 3 cups cooked, drained green beans 3 cups cooked, coarsely shredded beets 1/4 cup honey (or alternative) 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt Stir together honey, lemon juice and salt. May add other seasonings if desired such as onion powder, parsley flakes, garlic powder. Mix all ingredients and let stand, stirring occasionally to marinate well.
