Guest guest Posted November 26, 2001 Report Share Posted November 26, 2001 CAROB PECAN BROWN RICE FLOUR CRUST Source: Mother Nature's Garden Cookbook 3 T. water 1 1/2 T. oil (I omitted this) 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 T. maple syrup 1/2 tsp. dark molasses 1 c. brown rice flour 1 T. carob powder 1/4 cup chopped pecans In a medium bowl, blend together the first five ingredients. Mix together the rice flour, carob powder, and pecans. Add the dry ingredients to the liquid and stir with a fork until the dough is blended. Pat the dough in the bottom of a 9-inch or 10-inch pie plate. Bake the crust at 400’ for 15 minutes, or according to the pie recipe. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
