Guest guest
Banana Coconut Cookies (raw) Source: Live Unfired Foods 2 cups mashed banana 1 cup chopped pecans 2 cups finely ground coconut (unsweetened) 2 Tbsp. honey (or alternative) 1 Tbsp. food yeast Mix, form into patties, roll in sesame seed. Press a pecan into each cookie. *Note about coconut. The cookbook, Live Unfired Foods, is a " vintage " book. . ..in other words, old! The author does not make the distinction of unsweetened, unprocessed coconut. Regular sweetened coconut is now processed not only with sugar, but with propolyne glycol. This is the same ingredient that is used to preserve things (embalming). Many health problems are associated with its use. For health and wellness the raw, unsweetened coconut is recommended for all cooking and baking. Keep well! ..
