Garbanzo-Rice Patties

Source: Strict Vegetarian Cookbook

 

Blend:

 

1 1/2 cups soaked garbanzos, drained

1/2 cup raw cashews

1 small onion

1 Tbspl soy sauce

1 1/4 cups hot water

 

Add:

 

1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1 Tbsp. Brewer's yeast (or nutritional yeast)

 

Form patties on cookie sheets and bake 30 minutes at 325°.
