Nut Cream for Cooking

Source: Recipes of Friendship

 

1 cup cashews or almonds

2 cups water

1/8 tsp. salt

 

Blend nuts with just enough water to cover. Blend until very smooth. Add

remaining water and salt. Blend until smooth. Keep refrigerated.

 

Note: If this is to be used for breakfast or dessert, add 2 Tbsp. liquid

sweetener and 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
