Guest guest Posted October 12, 2001 Report Share Posted October 12, 2001 Lima Bean Soup Source: Recipes from the Weimar Kitchen 1 1/2 cups dried lima beans 6 cups water 3/4 cup celery stocks 1/2 cup diced carrots 4 tsp. chopped parsley 1 cup chopped onions 1 1/2 cups diced tomatoes 1/2 tsp. sage 1 1/2 tsp. salt Soak dried lima beans overnight in water. Add remaining ingredients and cook at the simmering point until tender.
