Guest guest
Citron Melon Soup Source: Eat for Strength (Thrash) 8 cups cubed citron 2 Tbsp. water 1 tsp. herbs 2 Tbsp. whole grain flour 1 Tbsp. food yeast salt to taste 1/2 cup nut milk Put 2 tablespoons water, more or less, in a large kettle. Add the cubed melon and begin heating at very low flame. Citron is an easily stroed melon that usually grows wild in gardens and fields and is not eaten because of its gourd-like flavor. This unpleasant flavor is ganished with slow, long cooking. The melon stores a lot of water which is released on heating gently. After 1 hour of boiling time blend and add the last five ingredients. More whole grain flour may be needed for thickening. This makes a delicious and unusual soup.
