Guest guest
I haven't tried this yet, but it looks interesting. :-) Cabbage and Red Grapes Source: SmartFresh.com So opposites really do attract! Great as a filler in between meals - or as an unexpected side dish. Makes 4 Servings Preparation Time: 20 min. Ingredients: 1 small head of cabbage 1 tbsps oil 1 small onion minced 3 tbsps white wine 1 cups seedless red grapes white pepper to taste Directions: 1 Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core. 2 Shred the cabbage coarsely and plunge into boiling water for about 45 seconds, until the cabbage wilts. 3 Drain immediately. 4 Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the onions and wine. 5 Stir until the onion is soft (about 3-4 minutes) 6 Add the cabbage and the grapes and toss. 7 Cover and simmer for about 3 minutes more. 8 Remove the cover and continue to cook for about another 10 minutes until the grapes are very soft and the cabbage is tender. 9 Stir occasionally. 10 Season with pepper and serve immediately.
